Steps
- Create a network map by writing out the names and roles of everyone in your organisation. This could be done as part of Whole Network mapping.
- List or group individuals according to their affiliations: activities, groups, interests, political activity, etc.
- Note down strong connections and irregular or distant connections.
For example, while a network map based on ‘membership’ would show who is in the choir, a network based on affiliations might extend to a broader interest in music.
